I love aloe! We accidentally left ours in Houston, and we're missing it like crazy here! So nice and gelatinous and cool... and it grows so quickly! Great for cooking burns, but we still have silver- which works well too. Great shot. I agree with Shannon M re the contrast.

shona - it's aloe vera...great for burns of all kinds, even sunburn...it grows wonderfully here, i don't even bring it in when it's cold.
