beautiful! Just got a new camera and finding that flowers are easier to practice on than children!

soon - just arrived .... a million and one complications, but we're finally here.
Ruby red perfection! Love the perspective/crop on this one and the way you chose to fill the frame with the subject.
The blurred, rich greens peeking through the petals in the background really adds interest as well. Almost complementary to the striking reds of the flower itself.
Isn't the paintbrush of God the Creator awesome?
